Simplifying device fault management through modern UX.
Overview
Memfault helps customers find, prioritize, and fix faults in physical devices faster than ever before. The new Memfault website was designed to connect with users in a modern, simple, and direct way through a strong visual identity, compelling messaging, and a streamlined digital experience. This concept is reflected across the user experience, interface design, branding, 3D visualizations, motion and animation, typography, hierarchy, and color systems.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a digital presence that clearly communicated Memfault’s value while addressing user needs and behaviors. Existing touchpoints were fragmented, making it difficult for customers to quickly understand the platform’s benefits and navigate its offerings. The redesign needed to unify the brand, improve usability, and deliver a modern, intuitive experience that would engage both technical and business users.
Solution
I led a user-centered redesign, turning research insights into a clear, engaging digital experience. Through wireframes, prototypes, and iterations based on user feedback, the team created an intuitive interface that aligned with both user needs and business goals. The new site combines modern branding, 3D visuals, motion, and thoughtful typography to communicate Memfault’s value simply and effectively. The results speak for themselves: user engagement rose 40%, page loads became 86% faster, and new users increased by 15%.
