Design that honors creativity and inspires engagement.
Overview
On the Stage empowers performing arts organizations with production tools, technology, and fundraising capabilities to take control of their creative destiny and make theatre that positively impacts society. The new brand and digital experience were designed to connect with customers in an authentic, engaging, and impactful way through a strong visual identity, compelling messaging, and a modern web presence.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a brand system and website that could both inspire performing arts organizations and clearly communicate the breadth of On the Stage’s tools and services. The existing brand lacked cohesion and emotional resonance, making it difficult to build strong connections with users. The redesign needed to unify messaging, elevate the visual identity, and create a flexible system that could reflect the creativity and passion of the theatre community while positioning On the Stage as a trusted, forward-thinking partner.
Solution
I developed a bold, cohesive brand identity and digital experience that captured the energy and impact of the performing arts. Through expressive typography, structured hierarchy, thoughtful color palettes, and engaging iconography, the new system communicated both creativity and professionalism. The redesigned website launched in January 2023 and delivered measurable results: engaged sessions rose by 55%, organic traffic grew by 84%, new users increased by 50%, conversions surged by 80%, page loads became 86% faster, and mobile traffic expanded by 38%—proving the power of design to drive both emotional connection and business growth.
